Understanding and Supporting

Self-Awareness, Confidence, and Self-Esteem from Preschool to High School.

How do we truly understand children and adolescents in today’s world?

The foundation of a person’s self-worth isn't built overnight—it begins in the first years of life and evolves through the turbulent years of adolescence. This webinar bridges psychology and neuroscience to provide a complete roadmap of how the "Self" is formed, where it can fracture, and how educators at every level can intervene.

What we will explore?

  • 🌱 The Early Roots (Preschool & Primary): Understanding how self-esteem begins in early childhood. We’ll look at the neurobiology of attachment and how early "co-regulation" with teachers builds the foundation for future self-awareness.

  • 🧠 The Neuroscience of the Self: How the brain’s "self-system" develops. Why a toddler’s tantrum and a teenager’s crisis share the same scientific background, and how to support healthy brain integration at every age.

  • ⚖️ The Three Pillars: Distinguishing between Self-Awareness (noticing), Self-Confidence (doing), and Self-Esteem (being)—and why focusing on these in kindergarten prevents crises in high school.

  • 🚨 Addressing the Crisis & Prevention: Understanding the spectrum of self-destructive patterns. From social withdrawal in younger children to self-harming behaviors in adolescents—and how to provide "psychological first aid."

  • 🛠️ Practical Guidance for All Levels: Whether you are helping a 4-year-old name their emotions or a 17-year-old find their worth, you will get tools to become the steady, regulating presence they need.
