Awaken the child’s perception and provide the keys to exploring the world with precision, clarity, and wonder.
Reasons to choose this course
In the Montessori Early Childhood environment (ages 2.5–6), Sensorial work is the bridge between the child’s physical experience and their intellectual development. This course explores the profound philosophy of how we refine the senses to help the child classify the world around them.
We go beyond simple exploration. You will learn how each material serves as a "materialized abstraction," helping children internalize concepts of dimension, color, shape, and texture. Under expert guidance, you will master the art of presentation for the visual, tactile, auditory, and stereognostic senses. By understanding the "why" behind every cylinder block and color tablet, you will be able to create a classroom where children develop a keen, observant mind—forming the essential foundation for later mathematical and scientific thinking.
Basic Montessori education is required. (If you are new to Montessori, you can fulfill this requirement by completing our Duhovka Institute Onboarding Course online - ask us about this option).
